Roselle Hibiscus Juice
Measuring 2 teaspoons of Roselle Hibiscus liquid and add into 1.5L water. Add 0.5 to 1 cups sugar – according to taste (you can sub with honey or rock sugar) (start with 0.5 cup sugar, if you plan to add ice cubes later it’s okay to make the juice sweeter as the ice will melt)
Roselle Konnyaku Jelly
Put the konnyaku jelly powder and sugar in a bowl. Mix till well combined. Set aside. In a pot, mix in water, and measuring 2 tablespoons of roselle hibiscus liquid. Bring to boil. Slowly add in a mixture of sugar konnyaku jelly powder mixture. Whisk as you add until all konnyaku jelly powder dissolve. Spoon the konnyaku batter into the mold. Leave to cool for about 10-15 minutes. Keep inside the fridge for an hour or until set.
Direction of Use
Use for baking or beverage wherever a recipe calls for a flavour, colour & nutrient. Begin with 1 tablespoon for each 4oz / 113g cup of ingredients and add more depending on desired strength. Alternatively, can add to ice-cream, kuih-muih, jelly, cake, biscuit, jam, pudding, bao/bun, bread, dessert, popcorn, grazing & filling.
Store in a refrigerator after opening.
Shake well before use. Mix well with herbs & spices.
